Lusoga Translator Job Opportunity at Johns Hopkins University

Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Review and translate content of the flip chart into Lusoga.
  • Submit translated content to CCP for review.
  • Make revisions to the translations to incorporate CCP comments.
  • Re-submit revised translated content (soft copies) to CCP.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • A minimum of three years’ experience translating community education or related materials from English to Lusoga.
  • Ability to read and write Lusoga is a key requirement. 
  • Previous experience in development of health communication materials for communities in Uganda an added advantage.
Remuneration: CCP will pay a daily rate commensurate with past income history.  The duration of the task will not exceed 14 days.  All other expenses associated with the scope of work will be the responsibility of the consultant. This assignment will take place between March 2016 and April 10th 2016.
