Grain Grader Job Opportunity at AFGRI Uganda

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Grading of all grain receipts & dispatches
• Tasked with fumigation of grain
• Blending of grades
• Drying of Grain
• Carry out weekly sifting/condensation checks
• Capturing of data per load
• Preparing maintenance reports
• Office Administration
• Daily co-ordination of subordinate tasks
• Supervision of Loco and tractor operators
• Handling of grading disputes during intake and dispatch
• Carry our bi-weekly mechanical and electrical inspections
• Conduct audits on Risk control management, food and industrial safety

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• Qualified Grader (in possession of all grading and fumigating certificates)
• Possess excellent communication and admin skills
• A minimum of three years’ experience in Maize Grading and Barley Grading
• Computer literacy skills
