Project Manager, ALP and Livelihood Job Vacancy at Save the Children International

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidates for the Save the Children Project Manager, ALP and Livelihood job opportunity should hold bachelor’s degrees or higher in Teacher Education, Agriculture, Economics, Social Science or Development studies. Possession of a Postgraduate training/Advanced degree in the related field, Social sciences/social works, or Management is an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in livelihood and youth programming is preferred.
  • At least five years’ experience in livelihood and youth empowerment related program or protection in Uganda (preferably with an International NGO).
  • Previous experience in managing a budget of at least US$ 700,000
  • Prior experience of working with local partners and District Local Government in production, Education, and community based services
  • Excellent monitoring, evaluation and accountability skills
  • Strong management of donor communications and visibility.
  • Past exposure and experience of working with local partners and District Local Government in Child Rights Governance, Health, Nutrition, Education, HIV/AIDS or Child Protection is an added advantage.
