Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Save the Children Education Coordinator, ALP job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education preferably in Teacher education. Additional qualifications in Teacher Education will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of four years of post-qualification working experience in planning and implementing Education programmes with INGOs with at least two years of teaching experience in primary schools or as a Tutor in Primary Teachers’ College.
- Excellent analytical skills and strategic planning abilities.
- Ability to establish and maintain conducive collegial relations and perform effectively as a member of a team.
- Computer literacy and excellent documentation skills are a must.
- Availability and willingness to work extra hours during times of humanitarian responses.
- Excellent time management and planning capacity.
