- Acts as an advocate for children and their caregivers who live in poverty and are not able to speak out for themselves.
- The incumbent plans and identifies children and caregivers with special health needs and designs an action plan in collaboration with the Child Development Centre leadership and other stakeholders.
- Keenly monitors health related trends and makes reports regularly to the project Director, management committee and Partners.
- Plans and coordinates health trainings, health screenings and dental screenings for the Child Development Centre beneficiaries.
- Works in liaison with the local church in developing their care ministry.
- Builds networks with health centers/ hospitals, professional medical doctors for better service provision to the Child Development Centre beneficiaries.
- Performs any other duties assigned by the project Director and the project leadership.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should possess a Certificate in nursing or a diploma in Social Work and Social Administration, Development Studies, Education, Child Ministry and any other related field is required.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in community work especially in dealing with children.
- The applicant must also be a mature Christian who has a strong Christian testimony, a heart for ministry and knowledge of the scriptures.
- Age: Between 22-40 years.
