Senior Officer, Sexual and Reproductive Health Job Opportunity at Save the Children International

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The ideal candidate for the Save the Children Senior Officer, Sexual and Reproductive Health – YIA career placement should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a health related discipline. Post graduate training in either public health, Health Systems Strengthening, Community Health, Reproductive Health, Gender etc will be of added advantage.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in planning and implementing Adolescent Development (AD) or Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) programmes.
• Prior exposure and experience of working with the Local Government, local partners and training in either Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) with a focus on promoting adolescent friendly service delivery in the communities.
• Past exposure and experience of working with local partners and District Local Government in Child Rights Governance, Health, Nutrition, Education, HIV/AIDS or Child Protection is an added advantage.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching.
• Excellent time management and planning capacity.
• Availability and willingness to work extra hours during times of humanitarian responses.
• Proven ability to speak the local language (Runyakitara) and directly interact with the target group will be an added advantage
