- Drive the project vehicles on scheduled and approved routes
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections and maintenance including checking oil, fuel, brakes, lights, windshield, wipers and water and air pressure
- Read and understand specific vehicle operating manuals and have the ability to operate every device in the car
- Work closely with Procurement and Logistics Specialist to ensure that the vehicle has a current road license and that the insurance policy is up to date
- Perform minor (non-mechanical) maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle as requested
- Maintain accurate and current records that are requested from management
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean at all times
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should at least hold a Junior Certificate i.e. O’ Level
- Possess a Clean Driving License
- At least five years’ experience in a similar position
- Proven ability to drive a multi passenger vehicle safely and appropriately, including ability to read and interpret road signs.
- Ability to read, understand and adhere to the rules and regulations of the road transport and safety agency
