Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Health Engineering or other similar discipline.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in WASH engineering in a challenging environment.
- Previous experience in managing/supervising contractors is an added advantage
- Working knowledge of AUTOCAD and/or GiS.
- Proven knowledge on best practices in water, sanitation, and hygiene (Safe water chain) is essential.
- Familiarity with other participatory methodologies of hygiene and sanitation promotion, Social Behaviour Change Communication and LCCA approach.
- Strong reporting skills.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Ability to communicate in Ngakarimajong, Pokot and/or Luo is highly desirable.
- Possession of a motorbike permit (Class A) is desirable.
