WASH Engineering Assistant Job Opportunity at Concern Worldwide

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Health Engineering or other similar discipline.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in WASH engineering in a challenging environment.
• Previous experience in managing/supervising contractors is an added advantage
• Working knowledge of AUTOCAD and/or GiS.
• Proven knowledge on best practices in water, sanitation, and hygiene (Safe water chain) is essential.
• Familiarity with other participatory methodologies of hygiene and sanitation promotion, Social Behaviour Change Communication and LCCA approach.
• Strong reporting skills.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate in Ngakarimajong, Pokot and/or Luo is highly desirable.
• Possession of a motorbike permit (Class A) is desirable.
