- In charge of treating clients eye diseases in Outpatient Department (OPD) and other work stations.
- Screening patients for operation.
- Attending and participating in ward rounds and Night shifts.

- Selecting and referring complicated eye surgeries to the Ophthalmologist for further management.
- Keep a complete and accurate inventory of medicines, equipment and other supplies in the program.
- Support the Ophthalmologist in preparation and submission of the weekly and monthly activity reports.
- Perform any other relevant duties as may be required or assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants for the Ophthalmic Clinical Officer (OCO) vacancy should hold a Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine- Ophthalmology/ Cataract surgery.
- Registered with the Clinical Officers Council.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Be creative, innovative and sensitive to quality.
- Excellent command of the English language (both spoken and written) and must be multilingual.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise reports and well developed communication skills
- Good computer skills.
