Head of Fundraising, Grants and Communications Job Vacancy at CoRSU

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Identify funding opportunities
  • The jobholder will prepare draft proposals, share for discussion and endorsement, refine and submit to donors
  • Initiate registration with major donor institutions and gather information on funding and accountability
  • Increase local funding through private patients, appeals for individual donations and corporate companies
  • The incumbent will increase awareness through events and publications
  • Provide regular communication with potential and existing donors through reports, tours etc
  • Manage and supervise the team for Resource Mobilization, Advocacy and Awareness.
  • Assist the CEO in lobbying institutional donors.
  • Identify, develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential institutional donors, foundations, individuals etc.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The Head of Fundraising, Grants and Communications must hold a University degree preferably in marketing, communication, grants writing/project management or any other relevant field. Possession of a Post graduate qualification in proposal writing is an added advantage
  • Three years’ experience in funding proposal writing and a proven track record of writing successful grants
  • Excellent communication, presentation and social skills.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of disability
