Jobs at Tech 4 Development - Operations & Sales Internship

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Handle operations for a part of the business which involves checking and buying items downtown and coordinating boda delivery logistics;
• Keep all delivery logistics working smoothly;
• Handle, maintain, and improve relationships with downtown SME partners;
• Test and assure quality of items purchased;
• Support the team to better understand the needs of downtown SME partners;
• Support the Operations Lead whenever necessary;
• Undertake any other necessary on-site operations support and sales activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

• The applicant should be a team-player with at least two years’ experience in an operational and/or sales position.
• The ideal candidates should have excellent skills in communicating with existing and perspective clients.
• The candidates should be passionate to work in a fast-paced, creative, and culturally diverse environment while adapting quickly to changing needs and priorities.
• Practical experience in handling business operations such as buying and selling;
• Excellent command of the English and local language (oral and writing);
• An open-minded personality with a strong inter-personal skills (a people person);
• Keen interest to work in a technology startup and to grow with it;
• Show commitment to social change and our vision for digital empowerment;
• Applicants with experience in supporting operations and/or sales in an eCommerce company are desired
